ADMISSIONS NOTICE
APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION INTO ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES
The Victory College of Health hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its various programmes for the upcoming academic session.
Please Note: All entrance examinations will be conducted as Computer-Based Tests (CBT).
AVAILABLE PROGRAMMES AND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
COMMUNITY HEALTH

CHEW – Community Health Extension Worker

NDCHEW – National Diploma in Community Health
-
JCHEW – Junior Community Health Extension Worker
O’Level Requirement: Five (5) Credits in Mathematics, English Language, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (NECO, WAEC, GCE, or NABTEB)
O’Level Requirement for ND/HND:
Five (5) Credits in English, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, Physics/Chemistry, and one additional subject (e.g., Economics, Geography, Religious Knowledge, or Nigerian Language)
HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES (HND)
Courses Available:

HND Community Health
Entry Requirements:
-
National Diploma (ND) in a relevant discipline with at least a Lower Credit
-
Five (5) O’Level Credits in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
-
Evidence of completion of one-year industrial training (IT)
Duration: Two academic sessions (4 semesters), including practical attachment
Successful candidates are guaranteed automatic admission into a programme of their choice within the college.
REGISTRATION GUIDELINES
All candidates offered admission into the College are required to complete the registration process as a condition for participating in lectures and examinations.
Registration Procedure
Every newly admitted student must complete registration with the following units:

The Registry Office
-
Their Respective Academic Department
-
The Students’ Affairs Office
-
The School Library
Note: Comprehensive guidelines for registration are provided at the beginning of each academic session.
No student shall be allowed to attend lectures or sit for examinations unless fully registered.
Late Registration
Students are expected to register within a stipulated time frame.
However, late registration may be permitted in exceptional cases, subject to the payment of an approved late registration fee.
Suspension of Registration
A student may be allowed to suspend registration for one academic session, provided a valid reason is presented and approved by the Head of Department.
Acceptable grounds for suspension include:

Prolonged illness
-
Pregnancy
-
Inability to pay fees
-
Failure in key internal or external examinations
-
Disciplinary suspension
Procedure:
A Course Suspension Form must be obtained from the Registry upon payment of the required fee, duly completed, and submitted before leaving the College.
Failure to comply with this process may require the student to reapply for admission to regularize their academic records.
Reactivation of Suspended Registration
A student returning from suspension must:

Obtain and complete a Course Reactivation Form from the Registry

Pay the prescribed fee
-
Receive approval from the College Provost
This process must be completed before resuming lectures.
Renewal of Registration
Students must renew their registration at the beginning of each academic session until the completion of their certificate or diploma programme.
Lapsed Registration
Registration shall be considered lapsed under any of the following conditions:

Failure to renew registration in any academic session

Failure to present for examinations beyond the maximum approved study period without valid justification
-
Inability to complete the programme within the approved duration
Concurrent Registration
Students are not permitted to register for two programmes simultaneously within the College.
Any student found to be engaged in dual registration will have both registrations cancelled.
